India : Mouser Now Shipping Revolutionary mCube Accelerometers [TendersInfo (India)]

(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Mouser Electronics, Inc., a leading engineering resource and global distributor of semiconductors and electronic components, today announced a distribution partnership with mCube, provider of the world's smallest MEMS motion sensors. From smartphones and tablets to smart clothing and wearables, mCube offers accelerometers, electronic compasses (e-compass), and software-based gyroscopes that enable the new era of 'The Internet of Moving Things' where everyday objects and devices can measure, monitor, and analyze motion and context in space, generating massive amounts of data and insight.

The mCube product line, available from Mouser Electronics, includes the MC3410, MC3430 and MC6450. The MC3410 and MC3430 are low?noise, high integration digital output 3-axis accelerometers optimized for mobile devices and consumer product motion sensing. The devices enable user interface control, gaming motion input and e-compass tilt compensation for applications including fitness and wearable products, mobile phones and tablets, game controllers, remote controls and portable media products. Accurate event detection is enabled with a low?noise architecture that minimizes false triggering.

The mCube MC6450 is a 6-axis e-compass that consists of a 3?axis linear accelerometer and a 3?axis magnetic field sensor in a single 3x3x0.95 mm 16-pin package. By combining a high precision magnetic sensor with a low?noise single-chip MEMS accelerometer, the MC6450 offers an industry-leading tilt-compensated e-compass with 15?bit resolution and high directional accuracy.

In the easy to use mCube MC3410 3?axis accelerometer, the internal sample rate is a fixed 1024 samples per second while drawing only 190 µA. 10-bit or 14-bit resolution is available. The sample rate of the mCube MC3430 3?axis accelerometer can be programmed from 1 to 128 samples per second, allowing developers to find the appropriate balance between performance and power savings ranging from a mere 5 µA at 1 sample per second to only 30 µA at 128 samples per second with up to 8?bit resolution. Both use an I2C interface for configuration and sensor readings and are available in small 2x2x0.92mm 12-pin packages.

The mCube MC6450 is optimized for applications that require high precision directional sensing including map orientation, virtual reality data overlay, enhanced navigation with dead reckoning assistance, and gyroscope replacement. The MC6450 maintains standard accelerometer features such as motion enabled user interface, gesture recognition and gaming control. Together with the mCube eMotion software, the MC6450 eases the integration of compass functionality into the end product, providing tilt?compensated heading calculations, hard- and soft-iron calibration and World Magnetic Model (WMM) compensation.
