Etisalat signs a global framework deal with Microsoft [ICN.com Financial Markets](ICN.com Financial Markets Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The software giant Microsoft and UAE`s leading telecommunications services provider Etisalat signed a global framework deal that will enable the telecom supplier to operate across 15 countries. Etisalat will leverage Window`s Office 365 with enterprise updated and efficient social networking and collaboration tools such as Yammer, Lync and SharePoint to improve productivity. To be more precise, Yammer will allow Etisalat employees to connect, find and share information, while Lync connects people everywhere, on Windows and other operating systems including mobile devices. As for the SharePoint Server technology, it permits users to efficiently manage and share personal documents and insights with colleagues.
