Emergent Lands 2 SEWP V Contracts [Health & Beauty Close - Up]

(Health & Beauty Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Emergent reported that it has been awarded two contracts under the Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V (SEWP V) Group A and Group D competitive procurements.

In its release, the Company said that SEWP V is the fifth generation of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) popular Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC)--a firm- fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle available to all federal agencies to procure information technology (IT) products, services, and solutions.

"Emergent is very pleased to be a part of NASA's incredibly successful SEWP program," said Greg Christensen, President of Emergent. "We look forward to our partnership with the SEWP V program office and to providing increased support to our Federal government customers." Against a backdrop of the Government's shrinking budgets and demanding mission requirements, Emergent said that SEWP V will make available a range of more interoperable, and powerful hardware, software, and emerging technologies at a more affordable price--and through secure channels.

"SEWP V will be the ideal place for federal agencies to acquire leading edge IT," said Paul Kohler, Executive Vice President of Emergent. "Federal IT buyers will have direct access to a wide range of on-premise and cloud-based products and services."
