Conference on advances in cloud computing [Pune] [Times of India]


(Times of India Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) PUNE: The Computer Society of India (CSI), Pune Chapter, has organised a one-day Conference on advances in cloud computing on October 10, a statement issued by CSI said.

The conference, named 'ACC 2014' will be held at the Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (Yashada), Raj Bhavan Complex on Baner Road. The conference will be inaugurated by H R Mohan, president of the Computer Society of India. Netherlands-based internet expert Harry Viet of YOB Holdings will be the keynote speaker. This conference will also include lectures from industry experts besides paper presentations and a panel discussion with participation from experts.



TThe statement added that, the theme for this year's conference is Internet of Things (IoT). The IoT conceptualises an ever growing network of all the things including every day and industrial objects. IoT promises to bring millions of incremental changes in the coming years which will make a profound impact on society.

This one day event will bring together top industry experts and academicians who will be sharing their views about the current status of IoT and its future potential. Some of the leading players in this field such as SAP, ICERTIS, Altizon, KPIT and SQS have confirmed their participation and will be sharing their experiences on IOT, said the statement.
