"Given this year is our 15th anniversary, we wanted to take a unique approach to commemorate this special occasion, and we're extremely excited to work with an artist who has the ability to capture this important milestone on our behalf," said Gabriel Abaroa Jr., President/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy. "Roy Feinson's innovative work reflects the rich history of our organization and utilizes an unforgettable 14-year phoo retrospective of the Latin GRAMMY Awards® in a colorful mosaic that conveys our essential international community spirit."

The multi-talented Feinson is an artist, writer, graphic software engineer, and founder of Doubletake Images, and has pioneered the genre known as impressionist mosaics. Feinson fuses technology and art to create works that provoke creative thinking and presents detailed images in large graphic formats. He was commissioned by Disneyland in 2005 to create 38 large-scale mosaics for the park's 50th anniversary. In 2007 he created the world's first free-form mosaic for the 50th anniversary of the GRAMMY Awards®. He serves as the art director for Project S.N.A.P., a non-profit organization designed to give K-12 students and their families the opportunity to speak out on community issues using art as medium to convey their message. Feinson's fourth book, The Zebra's Stripes: Insights into Animal Vision, is scheduled for release in early 2015.
