Vizocom partners with Eutelsat [CommsMEA (United Arab Emirates)](CommsMEA (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Vizocom has selected the EUTELSAT 21B satellite operated by Eutelsat Communications to implement a connectivity service in countries with challenging environments and limited terrestrial infrastructure. Vizocom's new AfricAsia Satellite Services will use two high-power service areas of the EUTELSAT 21B satellite to offer connectivity with speeds ranging from 6Mbps to 10 Mbps in the Middle East and Africa. AfricAsia Satellite Services enables companies and organisations operating in remote locations in Iraq, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Mali, Egypt, Liberia, Djibouti and Afghanistan to connect remote sites to the Internet and access services that include Voice over IP, corporate networking and data. Vizocom's service has been deployed in Mali for Bangladesh Army (BDA) Peacekeeping Forces situated since April 2014 in multiple military bases as part of a United Nations 'Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission'. Vizocom's AfricAsia Satellite Services support BDA for critical functions, training services and logistics operations, ensuring mission preparation and execution while minimising risks.
