Under terms of the agreement, Couchbase selected Simba Technologies to build ODBC 3.8 and JDBC 4.0 connectivity drivers for the Couchbase NoSQL database. The Simba SQL-92 engine supports aggregations, joins, scalar functions, sub-queries, and limits DDL. Additionally, it will support N1QL, Couchbase's SQL-like query language currently in developer preview.
