Luxoft Appoints New Managing Director for TelecommunicationsNEW YORK --(Business Wire)-- Luxoft Holding, Inc (NYSE:LXFT), a leading provider of software development services and innovative IT solutions to a global client base, today announced Maik Lankau has joined the company as Managing Director and Global Head of Business Development for telecommunication services. Mr. Lankau will drive global business development for Luxoft's telecommunications offerings. With more than 20 years of extensive international experience in the telecommunications domain, Lankau's experience can strengthen Luxoft's position in terms of strategic business opportunities, partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, and licensing agreements, particularly with global service providers, equipment manufactures, and system integrators. He recently served as Group Vice-President for Danaher's (News - Alert) Communications Platform in the network, security, and data center verticals. In this position, Lankau led engagements with major global carriers and network equipment manufacturers with a focus on expanding. Danaher's role in mature and emerging markets, while simultaneously driving Danaher Communications Platform sales. Prior to his role at Danaher, Lankau also held eecutive positions as Global Vice-President for JDS Uniphase Corporation's Packet Portal Division, Global Senior Vice-President and Chairman for the EMEA region at Allied Telesis, and several executive positions with Spirent (News - Alert) Communications, VSS, and Ixia.
