and related services, today announced it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with South African based Torch, a leading telecom estate management and administration company in South Africa. The partnership further extends Tangoe Matrix solution suite into Africa by providing an established implementation partner in the region.

By leveraging Torch regional knowledge and expertise, Tangoe will provide clients with comprehensive software and service solutions to optimise visibility and control of their complete fixed and mobile communications. Customers throughout the region will benefit from industry-leading mobile communication management solutions including: mobile device management (MDM), helpdesk services, and mobility-focused strategic consulting services.

The partnership will also introduce real-time mobile expense management (rTEM) solutions that enable enterprises to proactively avoid excessive roaming charges and provide them with additional layers of mobile device security. Tangoe comprehensive MatrixFixed solution suite will provide customers with contract management, inventory management, invoice processing, invoice auditing, cost allocation, payment approval, dispute management and reporting capabilities.

Tangoe MatrixMobile solution suite will enable clients to improve visibility and control of their enterprise-wide mobile connections and provide them with the opportunity to reduce mobile costs, increase operational efficiencies, mitigate security risks, improve mobile support and increase user satisfaction.

"We are excited about partnering with Torch and the opportunity to introduce the Matrix Solution suite in Africa," stated Ian Yates, Commercial Director EMEA, Tangoe. "Mobile usage is growing in enterprise networks across the globe and we recognise the importance of managing all devices on a network to avoid large costs or security risks. We look forward to leveraging synergies with Torch to support the African region." "We are pleased to be able to work closely with Tangoe to implement an innovative range of solutions for managing mobility, fixed, cloud, IT, and machine-to-machine (M2M) communications," said Sean Taylor, managing director, Torch. "We see the use of mobile in the enterprise as a growing issue in the region. Businesses realise that they need to manage their entire mobile ecosystems, rather than focus on one area. Through our partnership with Tangoe we will be able to further support our clients' ability to manage the ever-expanding number of mobile devices connected to their corporate networks." Tangoe and Torch will host a joint seminar in Johannesburg on Wednesday, 1 October 2014, titled Managing Mobility Across Africa: Taking Control. This strategic and informative seminar will see mobility experts covering local, regional and global mobility trends and challenges including innovative solutions to track, manage, secure and support various connections types across the enterprise.
