Connectria Announces It Was Not Sold TodayST. LOUIS --(Business Wire)-- St. Louis-based Connectria Hosting, a world leader in cloud hosting and the No Jerks Allowed movement, today announced that it was not sold to anyone. Not only was Connectria (News - Alert) not sold, it isn't for sale. And it won't be. Over the brief span of one day, three sizeable companies with major operations in St. Louis were sold: Sigma-Aldrich to Merck KGaA, Viasystems Group Inc. to TTM Technologies (News - Alert) Inc. and Cassidy Turley to the group which includes private equity firm TPG. In the hosting industry over the past year, Rackspace announced it was open to a sale, Savvis was sold to CenturyLink, and Layered Tech was sold to Datapipe (News - Alert). "As a private company, Connectria is not a slave to Wall Street or private equity firms; nor do we have a relentless obsession on short-term results. We run our business wisely, we are growing at a healthy rate, and we generate ample profits to deliver on our commitments," said Rich Waidmann, Connectria's President and CEO. "One of Connectria's guiding principles is that our most important customer is our last one, not our next one. Our principles aren't for sale and neither are we."
