Cisco's Yvette Kanouff to Keynote at Tech It Out Conference [Professional Services Close - Up]


(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) said that Yvette Kanouff, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Service Provider Video Software & Solutions Group, Cisco will deliver the opening keynote address at the organization's Tech It Out Conference on September 23 in Denver.



WICT noted that Kanouff was the 1997 Women in Technology Award honoree.

According to a release from the organization, the program will also feature Sherita Ceasar, Vice President of National Video Deployment Engineering for Comcast Communications. Recently named the 2014 Women in Technology Award honoree, Ceasar will take part in a panel discussion to be moderated by Veronica Sheehan, Senior Vice President of Global Network, Technology & Studio Operations, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. Additional panelists will include Vickie Fiala, GVP, Business Operations & Planning, Time Warner Cable; Tammy Franklin, EVP, Digital, Scripps Networks Interactive; and Maria Popo, President & Chief Business Officer, Ubee Interactive, Inc. As previously announced, Robert (Bob) J. Stanzione, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, ARRIS Group Inc., will conclude the conference with a keynote address.

"Tech It Out's objective is to increase the number of women in technology by showcasing leadership role models and providing resources to enable women to grow and remain in this field. The 2014 Tech It Out Conference will be held inside of SCTE's Cable-Tec Expo in Denver, CO, with Namic, SCTE, and the Walter Kaitz Foundation serving as partners. The sessions and hours allow time for in-depth leadership development and a guided group tour of select SCTE exhibits.
