Oceus Networks: Randy Fuerst Promoted to CEO [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The Board of Directors for Oceus Networks reported the promotion of Randy Fuerst to President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. According to a company release, this appointment follows the departure of Douglas Smith as the company's CEO. Fuerst has been serving as President and Chief Operating Officer since joining the company three years ago. Prior to joining Oceus Networks, Fuerst served as Chief Operating Officer for CACI International. "I am humbled and honored to serve as CEO of Oceus Networks and lead the outstanding Oceus personnel who are so dedicated to our company and the mission of the customers we serve," said Fuerst. "Oceus has made great strides in introducing 4G LTE commercial broadband technology into the defense and public safety markets. We are on the cusp of integrating our technology into major programs of record within the Department of Defense and will soon announce the award of our first law enforcement contract in support of a state government integrating 4G LTE technology into its mission in coordination with FirstNet (First Responder Network Authority)."
