(dpa-AFX International Compact Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Red Hat Inc. (RHT) said that it has agreed to acquire a privately held company FeedHenry, enterprise mobile application platform provider, for approximately 63.5 million euros in cash, subject to certain adjustments at closing.

The transaction is expected to close in third-quarter Fiscal Year 2015, subject to customary closing conditions.

FeedHenry expands Red Hat's broad portfolio of application development, integration, and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions, enabling Red Hat to support mobile application development in public and private environments.
