Under the contract, Huawei will build 4G base stations in eight Cambodian cities, according to a press statement after the signing ceremony. The whole project is estimated to take two years to be accomplished.

"The project is aimed to build a national communication and information network in Cambodia, consisting of the construction of Internet Data Center (IDC) with multiple international gateways and national fiber telecom backbone network with 400 Gb/s," said the statement.
