CathoNet™ Continues Growth in 2014

CathoNet is pleased to announce they have signed the Diocese of Rockville Centre in Long Island, New York and Corpus Christi, Texas to multi-year hosting agreements. CathoNet also announced today that they renewed a multi-year contract with the Archdiocese of Chicago, a client of more than 5 years, and signed a pilot program with the Diocese of Providence. More than twenty-three dioceses in the US Catholic Church now benefit from CathoNet's cloud-based accounting and consolidated fiscal reporting solution.

The Diocese of Rockville Centre has transitioned their Logos Accounting users to the CathoNet Hosted Desktop utilizing QuickBooks from Intuit (News - Alert). Business Managers and Bookkeepers officially began woring in QuickBooks via the CathoNet Hosted Desktop on September 1.

"CathoNet was selected by a committee comprised of Diocesan, parish and school representatives," stated Mary Anne Coleman, CPA and Parish Support Representative at the Diocese of Rockville Centre. "We felt parishes moving from LOGOS, Macola, or any other accounting software would find learning QuickBooks very easy."

The Diocese of Providence is currently standardized on QuickBooks, and will begin the pilot program by selecting five parishes to bring into the hosted environment to provide them with the benefits of anytime, anywhere access. CathoNet has worked with Bread of Life Schools in Providence, Rhode Island for over one year.
