OmniTI Announces Final Program for Surge 2014: The Scalability & Performance Conference September 24-26 in Washington DC

OmniTI, a provider of web infrastructures and applications for companies that require scalable, high-performance, mission critical solutions today announced the final program up for its Surge 2014: The Scalability and Performance Conference which will be held September 24-26, 2014 at the Gaylord National Harbor, just outside of Washington DC. The company also announced that it is hosting illumos Day immediately following the conference on September 27. illumos Day is designed for contributors, users, and those with a healthy sense of curiosity, to collaborate for a series of sessions related to illumos technologies and how illumos is pushing the capabilities of internet services. Originally based on Sun's Open Solaris technology platform, illumos is an Open Source (News - Alert), community project to develop a reliable and scalable Unix based operating system.
