United States : VANTRIX announces support for premium video services with 4K UHD [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Through a partnership with Verimatrix and Broadcom Corporation, Vantrix declared support for premium video services using 4K ultra high-definition (UHD) protected content. At the IBC trade show in Amsterdam, demonstrations will have 4K H.265 content encoded with the Vantrix Media Platform and protected with the Verimatrix Content Authority System, provided to a next-generation Broadcom set-top-box reference design, the BCM7445 4Kp60 IC. The Vantrix Media Platform allows live and on-demand video processing for adaptive bit-rate powered multiscreen experiences. Through this, the operators can take advantage of next-generation UHD services. It helps to deploy in a flexible physical or virtualized environment through an ecosystem of tightly integrated encoding, monitoring and middleware offerings.
