CPC EMERGES AFRICAN REGULATOR OF THE YEAR IN LONDON(Daily Trust (Nigeria) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The Consumer Protection Council (CPC) has been named the African Regulator of the Year in the 2014 edition of the African Business Leadership Awards, which was held in London, United Kingdom. Conveying the award nomination to CPC, the organizers, the African Leadership (UK) Limited wrote: "we are pleased to notify you that, after a rigorous screening process, Consumer Protection Council Nigeria has meritoriously emerged as the winner of the African Regulator of the Year Award in the 2014 edition of the African Business Leadership Awards, billed to hold 5 September 2014 at the Hilton London Metropole, UK". The emergence of CPC for the Award is the result of a survey of over 480,000 respondents, 180,000 of which were received through facebook and other platforms used by the organizers of the Award. CPC said the outcome of "our different polls nomination shows that Consumer Protection Council of Nigeria ranked tops in the Government Regulator category". |
