Mouser Sponsors Team China in New Formula E Race SeriesDALLAS & FORT WORTH, Texas --(Business Wire)-- Mouser Electronics, Inc., a leading global distributor of semiconductors and electronic components, today announced its sponsorship of the China Racing Formula-E Team. The team will compete in the international 2014/15 Formula E racing series, built around all-electric cars, starting September 13 in Beijing.

Team China Racing is the first national racing team authorized by the Ministry of Sports of China. Team China has participated in several international racing series and represents China's highest motorsport level. Chinese racing sensation Ho-Pin Tung, a veteran of the international auto racing circuit, will be driving the Mouser-sponsored Spark-Renault SRT_01E which can go 0-60 in 3 seconds and has a top speed of 150 mph. He will be the only local Chinese driver in the season opener in Beijing.
