Iranian device commands home appliances by phone call [Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) (Iran)]

(Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) (Iran) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian researchers at a technological center in central Iran, Isfahan City, have designed a tool giving command to electronic home appliances via phone call.

"Using Saba remote-control system, personal electronic appliances can be controlled by a phone call through telephone or cell phone," said Mehdi Keshmiri, Head of the center.

Using the system, there is no need to buy remote-control systems in buildings and complexes, and only the intended numbers should be set and defined for the tool.

He further added that the device can be installed on automatic doors as well as intercoms without needing any key or remote-control system.

Managing Director of the Company Shahram Alizadeh said the door would open if any one calls the number available in the tool's sim.

He also said in case the caller's number is not defined for the tool, it would be rejected and receives no response.

The device can be charged by a rechargeable batteries and reports power cut through sending text messages.
