AllSeen Alliance Announces Sony as Premier Member

Sony joins 10 Premier Members -- Electrolux, Haier, LG, Microsoft, Panasonic, Qualcomm Connected Experiences, Inc., Sharp, Silicon Image, Technicolor and TP-Link -- and 53 Community Members united to overcome the interoperability challenges that impede the Internet of Things.



AllSeen Alliance represents the largest group of companies ever assembled to advance universal connectivity among a disparate range of objects and devices in homes and businesses. Alliance members are working to advance the Internet of Everything by collaborating on a universal software framework, based on AllJoyn open source code. AllJoyn allows discovery and interoperability among devices and objects regardless of brand, operating system and other infrastructure considerations.
