Chief operating officer resigns [Mercury, The (South Africa)]


(Mercury, The (South Africa) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NICO Muller, the chief operating officer of Royal Bafokeng Platinum (RBPlat), would step down with effect from October 1, the company said yesterday. RBPlat said Muller was instrumental in the development, stability and progress of the Styldrift I project, and had been appointed as an executive of a listed gold company. Neil Carr, the head of projects and engineering, was appointed as executive head of operations with effect from October 1, it said. Glenn Harris would head the Bafokeng Rasimone Platinum Mines (BRPM) and Styldrift project, collectively known as the BRPM joint venture.
