CommScope to bring wireless solutions to GITEX 2014 [ITP.net (United Arab Emirates)]

(ITP.net (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Communications infrastructure solutions provider CommScope, Inc has announced it will showcase solutions for business enterprise and wireless carrier network operators at the GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2014.

CommScope representatives will demonstrate and discuss the solutions in the Business Solutions sections of the exhibition.

"We believe GITEX 2014 will be a great platform for branding and relationship marketing with existing customers and partners, as well as potential ones," said Jim Curran, vice president, Enterprise Sales, Middle East and Africa, CommScope.

"We plan to use this opportunity to reinforce the CommScope brand message and showcase CommScope's full capabilities for business enterprise and wireless customers, with live product demonstrations of new solutions."  During the weeklong event, CommScope has developed a programme to engage with their key regional customers and partners through targeted activities, such as a technology forum and customer meetings and briefings at the stand.

"GITEX Technology Week is the leading IT and technology exhibition in the Middle East and we are looking forward to showcasing our technologies and solutions," added Curran.

CommScope will demonstrate its portfolio of solutions for data centres, such as iTRACS, a data centre infrastructure management solution that is designed for knowledge-based decision-making by "replacing guesswork, variance, and risk with insight, foresight, and measurable ROI".

CommScope will also showcase its SYSTIMAX solutions, including imVision, which provides IT managers with control over their infrastructure through "intelligent management" of the physical layer.

Also on show will be CommScope's new Data Centre on Demand solution, which is aimed at providing "a flexible, highly efficient, purpose-built alternative to the traditional brick and mortar data centre".

For wireless operators, CommScope will feature a variety of network modernisation solutions and best practices designed to simplify and streamline the evolution to next generation networks, including LTE.
