United States : US FCC grants Type Acceptance to ESTeem Wireless Modems for new Model 195H [TendersInfo (India)]


(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has awarded type acceptance to Electronic Systems Technology, Inc. (EST) dba ESTeem Wireless Modems for new Model 195H radio on the FCC's newest licensed narrow band frequency in the 217 to 220 MHz frequency spectrum.



It is stated that this new frequency is for the fast growing Water, Wastewater and other SCADA industrial markets.

The ESTeem Model 195H comes with multiple modes of operation offering a single radio to operate as a Master, Repeater or Remote through programmable selection lowering system spares and easing site management. It provides low throughput Ethernet, Serial (RS232/422/485) and 4 Channel (4/20mA) Sensor interfaces for industrial automation and control system hardware at a very competitive price point.


Tom Kirchner, President said, The ESTeem 195H incorporates the latest narrow band radio technology for cabinet or direct outdoor pole mount configurations. The 195H's integral Digi-Repeating feature allows simple implementation of large wireless networks over large geographical areas.

Since 1984, Electronic Systems Technology (EST) has been a publicly held Corporation. It was the first company to develop the wireless modem and receive the United States and Canadian patents for this technology. ESTeem is one of the first members of the original Rockwell Automation Pyramid Solutions Program started in 1991 which is now called the Encompass Program.
