First announced to be heading to Malaysia back in July, the Redmi 1S from hotshot Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has proved to be a hot commodity in Malaysia, selling out within 6 minutes when first released locally. With decent specs,the Redmi 1S is one of the best smartphone bargains in the Malaysian market right now Lazada is the first e-commerce destination in Malaysia to officially make the in-demand budget smartphone available for mass purchase, the only previous channel being Xiaomi’s own Malaysian website, which limited purchasers to one unit per purchase attempt. Another advantage of purchasing the Redmi handset from Lazada is that you can pay for it by COD, or rather when the delivery is made to your doorstep- provided your doorstep is located in the Klang Valley, Johor, and Penang. In fact, buyers in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor can expect to receive their device within 24 hours.
