Research and Markets: 2015 Real Estate Attorney Hourly Rate Report

DUBLIN --(Business Wire)--

Research and Markets ( has announced the addition of the "2015 Attorney Hourly Rate Report - Real Estate" report to their offering.

The 2015 Attorney Hourly Rate Report - Real Estate examines the hourly rates of Attorneys (Partners, Counsel, Senior Associates and Associates) at the Law Firms most active in the Real Estate market. Rates are analyzed by Individual Firm, Firm Revenue Size Group (Top 10, 50, 100, 101-200) and Firms outside of those traditional rankings - Non-US Firms such as Magic Circle Firms, large Regionals, small and middle-market firms and boutiques. Additionally, the Report slices the data by City and Idustry (all major ones) to highlight geographical and industry-specific pricing differences. As you will see, hourly rates by Firm and Position will vary.

Real Estate has rebounded significantly from the 2008 - 2009 downturn due to lower commercial and retail lending rates, absorption of distressed properties (there are not that many left) and overall economic recovery. Additionally, Real Estate has a deal aspect to it somewhat similar to M&A and Corporate transactions so rates and fees may include success components.

Additionally, Real Estate can include financial and tax legal issues which provide a further lift on rates especially the Tax Practice whose rates are usually in the 75th plus percentile. The Real Estate practice is comprised of two parts: Development and Finance. We have included and combined both in this Report. Because of these reasons, the Real Estate legal practice appears to be solid and poised for continued growth. Both Private Counsel and Real Estate Companies in every aspect of Real Estate finance and development should benefit for the foreseeable future.
