Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ Announced For Singapore Release Only [Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia)]

(Mobile 88 Online (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Samsung is known to release a gazillion variant of their flagship smartphones and the tradition continues with their current flagship, the Galaxy S5. Let's see, we have the Galaxy S5 mini, Galaxy S5 Active, Galaxy K Zoom, Galaxy S5 Sport (exclusive in United States) and Galaxy S5 LTE-A (only in South Korea). Not to forget the Galaxy Alpha which many seen as the "Galaxy S5 Prime." Now add Galaxy S5 4G+ to the dizzying list.

The Galaxy S5 4G+ is exactly the same as the standard Galaxy S5 design and hardware-wise, safe for a faster processor powering the device in the form of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset. Interestingly, it will only be released in Singapore to complement the new 300Mbps 4G LTE-A service offered by SingTel (a local telco), which probably means we in Malaysia do not have a reason to travel south and get one of these.

The Galaxy S5 4G+ will be officially launched in Singapore on August 23 (this Friday) and is said to possibly retail for a maximum of SG$688 (around RM1,750). Meanwhile, until we have our own LTE-A service in Malaysia, we can only cast an envy glance towards our southern neighbor.
