New Mobile APPs Streamline User-Friendly Experience for SAE International Events: COMVEC and Convergence(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WARRENDALE, Pa., Aug. 20 -- SAE International issued the following news release: Due to overwhelming demand from its event attendees, SAE International will be launching two new applications for all mobile devices including smart phones and tablets. The two event apps, created for SAE Convergence and the Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress (COMVEC), will provide details on speakers, sessions, and continual notifications on any possible changes in the programs. SAE International initially created a mobile app platform for the SAE World Congress, and after receiving terrific feedback, SAE International's Engineering Events staff made it a priority to produce mobile apps for both COMVEC and Convergence. The mobile apps will provide up-to-date information on the events, pertinent information on the speakers and their topics, and a detailed map of the floor plan. Users also have access to a "My Notes" section in the App, allowing individuals to type notes and bookmark them with the appropriate speaker or session. Networking is expected to rise to the next level at Convergence and COMVEC, as users will be able to efficiently share contact information and notes.
