Two new additions to the TPP's growing content marketing team [Bizcommunity (South Africa)]


(Bizcommunity (South Africa) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The content marketing agency TPP welcomes seasoned editors Zanele Kumalo and Lori Cohen...Lori CohenZanele KumaloTPP, the independent content agency has expanded its content marketing team to include two journalists that bring with them a combined number of 22 year's experience.



Lori Cohen returns to TPP where she was editor of Edgars Club magazine in 2003. Cohen was deputy editor of Marie Claire from 2003 to 2010 and deputy editor of Women's Health magazine for the past four years. She brings with her a wealth of experience in fashion and beauty editing, as well as project management on the commercial side of publishing. She was a finalist in the Discovery Health Journalism Awards in 2009 and 2010 and received a Highly Commended for Public Interest Writer of The Year in the PICA 2008 Awards. Cohen joins TPP as publisher across a number of key accounts. Cohen says: "TPP has a wonderful company culture and an exciting portfolio of clients. I look forward to working with them, as well as the talented editors on the individual titles." Zanele Kumalo also joins TPP as content editor. After starting out as a sub-editor and reporter for the Sunday Times, Zanele was seduced by the world of glossies and worked as a beauty editor and Joburg correspondent for Top Billing. She later joined Oprah magazine as beauty editor, moving on to ELLE as their beauty editor and bureau chief. She joins TPP after four years spent in the position of beauty editor then features editor at Marie Claire. As one of Mail & Guardian's 2009 '300 Young South Africans', Kumalo says: "I am excited to have the opportunity to create and curate content across the multiple new channels that our clients want access to."
