ICF International Names Samuel Visner Senior Vice President


FAIRFAX, Va. --(Business Wire)--

ICF International (News - Alert), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has named Samuel Visner senior vice president and general manager for ICF's cybersecurity business.

With more than 35 years of experience, Mr. Visner's appointment expands ICF's expertise in national security and cybersecurity work for the private sector and for the U.S. federal government. Throughout his career, Mr. Visner has demonstrated results in cybersecurity on a global scale in executive leadership roles.

Prior to joining ICF, Mr. Visner served as vice president and general manager at CSC (News - Alert) Global Cybersecurity where he managed the cyber business and global service delivery servicing public sector and commercial enterprises throughout the world. He was also a senior vice president at Science Appications International Corporation (SAIC (News - Alert)) where he managed the strategy and business development teams for the company's intelligence, research and development and security support markets. Prior to SAIC, Mr. Visner served as chief of Signals Intelligence programs at the National Security Agency (News - Alert) (NSA) where he received NSA's Exceptional Civilian Service Award, the agency's highest award to civilian employees.



Mr. Visner is an associate of the National Intelligence Council, and serves as an advisor to the U.S. national security community. He is also a member of the Council on Technology and Innovation of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA), INSA's Executive Committee and INSA's Cyber Council.

Mr. Visner is a frequent presenter and published writer on issues related to national and global cybersecurity, and he is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University where he teaches on cybersecurity policy and operations, and has taught previously on the effects of information technology on international security. Mr. Visner holds a bachelor's degree in international politics from Georgetown University, and a master's degree in telecommunications from George Washington University.
