BT Sport opens 'Fan Creche' viewing area opening channels to all; Opens this week in Westfield Stratford City, East London


(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BT Sport, free for a second season for BT Broadband customers, is making itself available to all by opening an innovative viewing area in Stratford City, London.

The BT Sport Fan Crche will be open seven days a week, between 2pm and 10pm Monday to Friday and from 10am at weekends, allowing around 100 people at a time to sample - for free - the BT Sport line-up - BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN - in a specially-created, interactive, luxury environment. Entry will be on a first come first served basis, with free refreshments available at selected times.



The area will appeal to sports fans as well as shoppers wanting a rest or a distraction from retail therapy at Westfield Stratford City.

Those lucky enough to gain entry to the area will be able to sample other BT products including superfast BT Infinity broadband, , BT TV and make free calls. They will also be in with a chance of winning prizes including tickets to a special VIP screening event at the Fan Crche in the coming weeks.


The area, next to the Holiday Inn and opposite Hugo Boss at Westfield Stratford City, opens at 2pm on Friday August 15 and is open until the end of September. It will give people the opportunity to sample BT Sports rich line-up of top-tier sports programming. This will include exclusively live Barclays Premier League clashes every Saturday, such as Manchester United v Swansea (August 16 from noon, BT Sport 1) and Liverpool v Everton (September 27, BT Sport from noon), the 2014 British Grand Prix (Moto GP) on August 30 and the start of the Aviva Premiership Rugby in September. In addition, there will be live football from Germanys Bundesliga, Italys Serie A, Frances Ligue 1, UFC, live womens tennis and BT Sports line-up of studio-based support programming.
