Security Industry Association Names Rich Cillessen to Board of Directors


(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SILVER SPRING, Md., Aug. 14 -- The Security Industry Association issued the following news release: The Security Industry Association (SIA) recently announced the appointment of Rich Cillessen, vice president of enterprise security at Siemens Industry Inc., to its Board of Directors.



Cillessen is a senior executive with a proven track record of building businesses and delivering outstanding results, during a career spanning more than 15 years in both the domestic and international market. Since 2013, he has led the strategy, vision and sales for the enterprise security business line for the Building Technologies Division within Siemens. He is responsible for strategic account management for key security clients.

Previously at Siemens, Cillessen was an area manager responsible for strategic and operational leadership of P&L for a 130-employee, $55M+ portfolio of services specializing in building automation, sustainability and renewable energy programs, life safety and security systems. Since joining the company in 2000, Cillessen has diversified his experience to include delivering on projects for major global players. He was responsible for all aspects of business for Colorado, Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. Previously, Cillessen worked for ADT as a commercial sales representative, a national account manager and a commercial sales manager.


Cillessen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Kansas State University.
