The award was presented during a gala event today at the Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA) in Pune's Rajbhavan. The application was selected for the honor from over 180 entries from 12 states across south and western India.

The Manthan Award is an annual prize for South Asia, given in recognition of exceptional digital content creation. Nominations are accepted from the public, and multiple awards are given across several categories.


Established in 2004, the award is issued by the Digital Empowerment Foundation in partnership with World Summit Award, Department of Information Technology, Government of India, and other stakeholders engaged in promoting digital content inclusiveness.
