Yahoo Names Mike Kali To Head IT, Data Center Operations(Benzinga Lightning Feed Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Yahoo (NASDAQ: YHOO) named Mike Kali to head its information technology and data center operations Wednesday. Effective immediately, Kali assumes the roles of chief information officer and senior vice president of infrastructure. Kali most recently served as vice president of information technology at Netflix. Previously, he played a similar role at Attensity, a privately-held Salt Lake City software company. Chief Executive Marissa Mayer said Kali's selection followed an intensive search. "The strength of our technical infrastructure is critical as we aim to deliver the best possible user and advertiser experiences," Mayer said.
