HP to Address How "Thinking Like a Bad Guy" Can Improve Security at HP Protect 2014; Annual user conference set to bring together 1,500 security professionals to share insights on disrupting the adversary and mitigating risk(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) PALO ALTO, Calif. -- HP today announced the lineup of keynote speakers and technically focused breakout sessions for its annual enterprise security user conference, HP Protect 2014 , taking place Sept. 8-11 in Washington, D.C. HP Protect 2014 general session and federal executive track At the general session on Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 9 to 11 a.m. ET, HP and industry experts will discuss the latest trends in security software and the most serious vulnerabilities and threats facing the industry. Speakers will include: - Art Gilliland, senior vice president and general manager, Enterprise Security Products, HP, will draw from more than 15 years of experience in the enterprise security industry to discuss what it means to "think like a bad guy," as well as which attacks are having the most impact across the industry today. - Brian Krebs, an investigative reporter and author of KrebsonSecurity.com, is a recognized authority on cybersecurity.
