Walgreens Names Timothy McLevish CFO(dpa-AFX International Compact Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) DEERFIELD (dpa-AFX) - Drugstore chain Walgreen Co. (WAG) announced that Timothy McLevish would succeed Wade Miquelon as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He would report to President and Chief Executive, Greg Wasson, effective immediately, and head all of Walgreens finance functions as the firm prepares to move forward with the proposed second step of its strategic partnership with Alliance Boots. McLevish joins Walgreens from Kraft Foods Group, Inc., where he most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Earlier to that, he served in chief financial officer roles for Ingersoll-Rand, the diversified industrial company, and Mead Corp., a forestry products company. Miquelon would continue as an advisor to assist the firm with the transition as it considers the exercise of Step 2 of its strategic partnership with Alliance Boots.
