CloudLink Brings Out Data Security Solution for Microsoft Azure [Health & Beauty Close - Up]

(Health & Beauty Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) CloudLink Technologies reported the availability of CloudLink SecureVM solution for Microsoft Azure, enabling Azure customers to manage the encryption of Windows and Linux-based virtual machines.

In its release, CloudLink said that CloudLink SecureVM helps secure both boot and data volumes in the cloud with a centralized approach that allows IT departments to have visibility and control over when and where their VMs are started. The solution provides enterprises with full control of the encryption keys for both Windows- and Linux-based virtual machines deployed in Azure and helps validate the integrity of these virtual machines before they are allowed to boot.

CloudLink said that the security and encryption of sensitive data is the leading concern for many organizations considering the use of cloud services. The CloudLink data security platform includes a suite of encryption modules to protect workloads at multiple layers to help secure business applications, hosted desktops and file shares.

"Cloud security is a top priority for many organizations including financial institutions, healthcare organizations and governments, but data encryption solutions must leverage existing platforms and operating environments that are already in use within the organization," said Alex Berlin, CloudLink CEO. "We are excited to work with Microsoft on a data security solution optimized for the public cloud that will help accelerate the adoption of cloud services." "CloudLink's data security platform helps Microsoft Azure customers to encrypt sensitive data and meet essential compliance requirements," said Kim Akers, general manager, Microsoft. "CloudLink's solution gives our customers flexible support for Windows and Linux environments and offers encryption across enterprise workloads deployed on Azure."
