Prevalent Names Matthew Hicks as Chief Strategy Officer [Manufacturing Close - Up]


(Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Prevalent reported that Matthew Hicks has been hired as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

In its release, the Company said that in this role, Hicks will work closely with the company's co-founders to accelerate Prevalent's corporate development efforts by capitalizing on the recent four million dollar equity investment made by Fulcrum Equity Partners and uncovering new business opportunities and strategic alliances.

Prior to joining Prevalent, Hicks served in a number of high- profile roles including the Executive in Residence for Grandbanks Capital where he originated and evaluated venture stage investments in cyber security, cloud and big data companies, as well as the head of corporate development, M&A and strategic investments at RSA Security, the Security Division of EMC.

Prevalent noted that earlier in his career, Hicks was a Co- founder, President and COO at several early stage technology companies including Arigo. He was also a venture investor at Redleaf Ventures and led numerous venture capital investments in the Technology Group at GE Equity, the private equity arm of General Electric.


Prevalent is a vendor risk and cyber threat intelligence group.
