MRV COMMUNICATIONS INC FILES (8-K) Disclosing Change in Directors or Principal Officers(Edgar Glimpses Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers On July 24, 2014, the Board of Directors (the "Board") of MRV Communications, Inc. (the "Company") appointed Jeannie Diefenderfer to serve as a director of the Company. Ms. Diefenderfer fills a vacancy created by an increase in the size of the Board from five to six. Ms. Diefenderfer's term will expire at the next annual meeting of stockholders. There are no arrangements or understandings between Ms. Diefenderfer and any other persons pursuant to which she was appointed as a director of the Company. Ms. Diefenderfer has not been named to any committee of the Board.
