Polish ICT sector's business climate inches down by 1pt m/m to 12pts in July [IntelliNews - Weekly Reports](IntelliNews - Weekly Reports Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Business tendency surveys carried out in July by national stats office GUS show a slight worsening of business climate in the information technology and telecommunications services sector - the sector's indicator was down by 1pt on the month to 12pts (after a 1-point drop a month earlier). This month, an improvement is noted by 18% of the surveyed enterprises, while worsening - by 6% (vs. 19% and 6%, respectively, in June), GUS reported. Assessments of current demand and financial standings are slightly positive, similarly as a month ago. Growth of current sales is assessed as higher than in June. Respective forecasts are optimistic, though more cautious than in June. Price drops are deeper than a month earlier, while IT firms expect them to cushion in the next three months.
