Nevada Resident Elected to Ducks Unlimited's National Board of Directors

(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MEMPHIS, Tenn., July 24 -- Ducks Unlimited issued the following news release: Tom Enos, of Washoe Valley, Nevada, was elected to Ducks Unlimited Inc.'s national board of directors during the organization's annual convention held recently in St. Louis.

"The leadership of our board of directors ensures we are fulfilling our mission to conserve, restore and manage wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl," said DU CEO Dale Hall. "Our board members are not paid for their work. They volunteer their time and resources because they feel so strongly about conservation. I welcome each new member and look forward to working with them in the years to come." Enos considers himself a full-time volunteer for Ducks Unlimited after retiring in 2007 from the Newmont Mining Corporation as the executive vice president of worldwide operations. He and his wife, Ora, relocated back to Nevada after 15 years in Indonesia and Colorado, where he served as DU's regional vice president for Region II.

"I look forward to continuing to serve Ducks Unlimited as a board member, major donor and volunteer," said Enos, who is glad to be back among family and friends in Nevada and California. He currently serves on the organization's finance committee, as well as the budget sub-committee.
