Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Appoints Bridgett Paradise as Head of Human Resources


BOSTON --(Business Wire)--

Global education leader Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) today announced the appointment of Bridgett Paradise as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief People Officer. Reporting directly to CEO Linda Zecher, Paradise will be responsible for HMH's diverse and passionate workforce as the Company continues to evolve as a digital leader. Her role will encompass human resources strategy and policy, including talent management and acquisition, organizational design and employee benefits, across the Company's network of twenty offices worldwide.

Paradise joins HMH from Microsoft (News - Alert) Corp., where she most recently held the role of General Manager, Human Resources for the Worldwide Services division, with responsibility for 22,000 employees. Paradise brings extensive experience in HR strategy, recruitment, organizational development and business analysis developed over her twenty-year tenure at Microsoft, including several senior roles at national and international level. Previously, Paradise led human resources at Government Technology Systems Integrations (GTSI).
