IFG Companies Announces That James E. Emig Joins as Director - Bind Property


ATLANTA --(Business Wire)--

IFG Companies has announced that James E. Emig has joined as its Director - Bind Property, where he will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for profitable growth of Bind Property and Bind Package business across the United States. Jim will be based in IFG's Atlanta office.

Jim has the right experience and underwriting discipline to build effective and successful property capabilities within our Bind unit," said Bob Linton, Chairman of IFG Companies.

Jim join IFG Companies after more than a decade with AIG, where he held a number of Zonal Executive, Regional Manager and senior underwriting positions, principally in property product lines. Before working at AIG, Jim worked in property underwriting at Allianz Insurance Company, Genesis Underwriting Management (a General Reinsurance Company), The Home Insurance Company and Hudson Insurance Company.



Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and has earned an Associate of Risk Management (ARM (News - Alert)) designation.
