WIPRO IN $1.2-BILLION OUTSOURCING DEAL WITH CANADA'S ATCO(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Wipro Ltd has bagged an outsourcing contract of $1.2 billion from ATCO of Canada for 10 years. The company has acquired the subsidiary of ATCO, ATCO I-Tek, for $195 million. The subsidiary has been providing information technology (IT) services to ATCO for the last 15 years. Wipro had acquired the IT practice of Science Application International Corp of the US in 2011 for $150 million. |
