United States : ARBA RETAIL SYSTEMS launches new mobile POS solution [TendersInfo (India)]

(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A major Point of Sale (POS) software developer for retail and food services sectors, ARBA Retail Systems, has launched a new mobile POS solution.

This retail management software is especially built for Microsoft Surface tablet series and can operate with the latest Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Tablet.

The PoS solution, ARBA CAFE's cafeteria version is a bespoke solution for corporate cafeterias, hospital cafeterias and school/college cafeterias.

The retail version is meant for single unit as well as stores.

Based on the latest Microsoft technologies - .NET and MS SQL Server, the software is compatible with the latest Microsoft OS Windows 8.

Kathy de la Torre, the Marketing Head of ARBA Retail Systems, stated : 'ARBA Retail Systems has been pioneering innovation in cafeteria management technology solutions since 1986. We have seen a rapid growth in the number of businesses embracing mobile/tablet based point of sale systems in the past few years. Mobility helps further speed throughput at the point of sale, while minimizing the hardware foot print. Corporate and hospitals can also enhance employee convenience at their cafeterias and increase cafeteria revenues by using the cashless payments feature. Cashier scans the existing employee badges and the meal charges are automatically recorded and deducted from the employee payroll, at the end of the month. Cashless payments are proven to speed check out time, and encourage employees to dine onsite rather than seek offsite alternatives. For automated payroll deductions, our Tablet PoS integrates seamlessly with industry leading ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, JDE, Kronos, ADP, Lawson, Meditech and many more.'
