U.S. Army CECOM Offers Sotera Task Order for Worldwide Intelligence (Intel) Systems Field Software Engineering Support [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sotera Defense Solutions was recently awarded an $87 million task order for the U.S. Army Software Engineering Center (SEC) Worldwide Intel Systems Field Software Engineering Support. According to a release from the Company, under the new task order, its team will provide integration, sustainment and training services for the Army worldwide for garrison, exercise, combat operations and contingencies to the users of fixed and tactical intelligence systems. The two-year task order was issued under the Software and Systems Engineering Services Next Generation (SSES NexGen) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. SSES NexGen is an IDIQ contract vehicle through which CECOM will procure engineering and scientific support services for the CECOM Command Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC) SEC located at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Maryland.
