New Affordable PDF Security Tools A-PDF Password Security for Users to Add Password to PDF Has Been Released

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) (PRWEB) July 14, 2014 A-PDF is pleased to announce A-PDF Password Security, PDF security software which can set permissions for a PDF file. Users have the option of either adding a password or removing an existing password.

The software offers three methods to set up PDF security. Users can opt for Single PDF Document Security which will add or remove the password protection from a single PDF document, Batch PDF Document Security which will add or remove the password protection for a batch of PDF documents or Hot Directory which will monitor a directory. In the Hot directory option, when a PDF file is copied in, it will be encrypted and sent to an output directory automatically. The original files can be moved to a backup directory. All these operations will be recorded in log files.

The PDF security software can not only change password security, but can also change restrictions of PDF. For example, it can be adjusted to allow or to not allow printing, copying content, changing the file, etc. This allows users to be able to make sure readers do not change any of the content but merely read it. The original files can then be moved to a backup directory. All these operations are recorded in log files and the user can always come back to check changes.

A-PDF Password Security can encrypt and decrypt files, edit and modify PDF metadata in batches and set or remove expiration time and date of a PDF.

The software also provides for a password pool when the user needs to unsecure a particular batch of PDF files. It will automatically try each and every password from a pool it creates, and the user does not have to go through the tedious job of putting in the passwords manually.
