IBackup Secures SSAE 16 Certification [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) IBackup has earned SSAE 16 certification. According to a release from the company, IBackup is fully compliant and up-to-date with the most recent changes to the reporting standards of the Auditing Standards Board (ASB) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). IBackup, approved previously by the older SAS 70 audit, passed the newer SSAE 16 audit, receiving approval that their infrastructure falls within accordance of the new standards. SSAE 16 covers internal procedures such as server monitoring, maintenance, and redundancy. It also addresses the overall health and structure of the company. "Data security and integrity is especially important to our customers. Getting the SSAE 16 certification assures our customers that their data is stored securely within a stable, fully compliant company," said Shane Bingham, Business Development Coordinator for IBackup.
