Maintel appoints new board member


(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Maintel the business-to-business telecoms and data services company has appointed Dr. Annette Nabavi the board as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Annette is currently a partner at AHV Associates LLP, a corporate finance advisory firm, and also undertakes consultancy projects through her own consulting firm, Anchusa Consulting.

She previously held the position of Head of Telecoms Global Business Development for Corporate Finance at ING Barings, where she gained significant experience in M&A, private equity, structured debt and public equity transactions.

Annette later became the founding director and CEO of XchangePoint Holdings Ltd, a Venture Capital backed Internet Interconnect company providing broadband metro Ethernet based services to ISPs and carriers.

Annette is also Finance Director of Women in Telecoms & Technology, a mentoring and networking group with over 500 members, and a member of the Advisory Board of the National Media Museum.
