Poland : ORANGE POLAND bags POLISH SHARED SERVICES CENTRE DEAL [TendersInfo (India)]


(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The submission by Orange Poland in the tender to provide fixed telephony using POTS and/or ISDN fixed line has been chosen from the Polish Shared Services Centre for several dozen administrative units of the government, including twelve ministries, voivodeship offices, the prosecutor general and the regulators UKE and UOKiK, reports Rpkom.pl.



The services would be offered over two years until the end of May 2016.

Under the deal, the customer estimates that the administrative units will be able to use 68.25 million minutes of national calls to fixed netowrks, 12.67 million minutes of calls to mobile networks and 1.09 million minutes of international calls.


The Shared Services Centre organised the tender as an open one. Price was the only criterion. Besides Orange Poland, Netia also competed for the contract. Previously, municipalities have used the services of several operators.
